Finally got my substrate in, and went out and got some rocks from my local landscaping place. I went with a rock they called core rock, but from my research it's a type of sandstone, I think.. These are interesting pieces, they have holes through them like holey rocks do.. Anyway I'm playing with placement of them, and wonder what you all thought..

So far I like placement in pic, 1 the best. I'm thinking of busting up one of the rocks so I can has some smaller pieces to play with..

I prefer #4, but a lot will depend on what else you plan to put in there...plants? wood? fish?

:iagree: I like #1 BUT I also like #5...sorry...I can never make up my mind. :nilly:

Some plants that I'm going to place in there are either micro swords or dwarf sag. Baby tears, maybe c. parva, and attach some marimo pieces on top of some of the rocks.

That is it I think for the plants. If I do any taller plants I may try star grass, or a type of val, but I don't think I will since I want an open feel to it..

The fish will be red tail goodieds, and I'll going to get some shrimp, prob yellow or green.

I like #1
it has more depth/dimension/texture/angles...if that makes sense :P

I too like #1.

As you plants grow the rock may get covered.

I like the last one and the first one, what do you plan on putting in there?
