I'll chime in in favor of the Fluval E series. I love the built-in digital display and keeps my 75 gallon tank at a very consistent 77 degrees. Wasn't loving this heater at first, but found out the key to even heating was good circulation in the tank, so I run a small powerhead to move things around. Now I really love it, and yes, it is more expensive than the others.
