I say bush fish. I have 1 in my 45....very cool fish. I think you could have 2. Everything I have read about them is they barely max at 6 inches in home aquaria. They are predators, but kuhlis are really good hiders. Probably you would just never see them.
There is no HOB that is large enough for a 90g. I suggest a Fluval FX5 - Street price of around $250. I have it on my 130g and it is great. It has a very large canister capable of holding a lot of bio-media. The HOBs are bad in that you lose your beneficial bacteria pretty much every time you clean them. I think that it is the largest canister available right now.
So I went to beverly's pet center in Pembroke Pines, FL today to buy some water testing kits as i've mostly ran out. They had these leopard bush fish ive been hearing so much about (what a coincidence).. all juvenile.. about 2''-2.5'' inches. I couldnt help it, so I bought one. I was tempted to buy one more but I may wait until the 90 is up and running. He will be going in the 90 but for now he is in the 30 and he seems to be settled in just fine. Tomorrow I will feed him some frozen foods until I can get some good live foods for him. I wish he grew a little larger than just 6'' but that should be fine. And i'll get a large school of some tetra or rainbows or something to compliment the tank.. havnt decided on what yet. Also I'll have some tap water readings for ya guys tomorrow.. the kit I bought today didnt comer with the GH kit. ;\
I feed mine live blackworms while he's still small, but I caught him eating the New Life Spectrum community pellets I feed to the guppies once, so now that I know he'll accept prepared foods, I'm going to start varying his diet, keeping it still mostly black worms, but throwing in more frozen and prepared foods. The more varied you make any fish's diet, the healthier they will be (same applies to humans)
mykuhlis are also pretty large,, ive had them for a couple years and theyre FAT and pretty long..but in any case ill just keep a watch out.. right now the leopard bush is smalll.. should i get another one when I set up the 90? Also how wold an eheim 2217 be for the 90 gal?

not sure on this, but I am pretty sure some members here said that they leopards will eat anything that will fit into their mouths? Correct? If yes, then I wouldn't put any tetras in the tank, unless they are bigger than 2"-3". Boesemani Rainbows would work great or Praecox
Earlier we suggested Congo tetras and Bosemani rainbows as good choices for large schooling fish.
Also, i heartmypleco, don't be surprised if it takes a good 2-3 years for the bushfish to reach full size. They are slow growers. But with good food and clean water, they will grow a bit faster.
