upgraded to a 90g

IMO glass cats are too picky of eaters to be kept with anything as active as rainbows, livebearers, tetras, etc.

soif i got the bushfish id have to get rid of the kuhlis? also how would some glass cats be in that tank as a secondary school?

You wouldn't have to get rid of them. The bushfish would get rid of them for you, eventually.

ahahhaha..awwww :[ but i like my kuhliiis

.. also i really want to make this tank look nice, i want to make it look really natural.. with lots of drift wood.. lots of hiding places.. a good substrate for the plants. What plants do you guys recommend? I want a few different species.. and I guess one or two that grow kinda tall.. since the tank is 2' deep. And a few smaller plants. I've never really truely aquascaped a tank before.. or even had live plants so a little direction on that will be appreciated as well... as far as the stocking goes im still gona give it some time to plan it out and think about it.. but i wanna start aquascaping asap..

yeah, the khulies would be fine left in the 29g, maybe add a dwarf gourami and a school of smaller tetras like neons, embers, some kind of rasbora, etc.

The 29 gallon i'm kinda donating to my girlfriend.. and its gonna be stocked with the fish that are in my 10 gallon which includes 4 sterbai cory and 2 albino cory, a king betta and 2 oto's. so theyll be in the 29 (except the king betta) and ill be letting her add a couple more fish to it gotta watch the stock on it though,, its runnng on 3 filters.. aquatech 30-60, tetra whisper 20, and a submersible filter for a 20 gallon tank. (those would be he filters id use to cycle the 90 i guess.).. she also wants to aquascape it. i just edited my last post so i coud get some information on that and plants as well. I still need to buy a filter fo the 90 and i think when i do it would be a good idea to run it in the 29 to get its bacteria?

im really considering getting this bushfish i just dont know what id do with the kuhlis
id feel bad keeping them i n the 29 andlimiting my gf's options to getting her own fish..

Running the big filter for the 90 in the 29g might help a little bit, but it would work better to just take the filter pads from the 29 and put them in the new filter. I stopped using the filter pads made for filters a loooong time ago and just started using cut-to-fit filter media that comes in a big sheet. It's way cheaper and more versatile. if your girlfriend is moving her fish into the 29, then you can just take the filter pads from whatever is running on the 10 gallon and throw those into the filter on the 29.

hmmm.. that could really work... I have a tetra whisper 20 and another little filter designed for a 10 gal (it came with the tank) running on the 10 currently/

i would use sand as substrate. and for tall plants, i would do vals and cabombas. and then do something short in the front like crypts, and then put moss and anubias and java fern on the DW.
