I was cleaning out my tank because the nitrate and nitrite levels were not at zero when I noticed there were babies swimming in the tank.

I didn't even know the phantom catfish was pregnant and I am unprepared as to what to do with the babies and the pregnant momma. She is still pregnant and my question is how do I take care of her and her babies?

Do you have pics of this "phantom cafish"? I conducted a search and all I get is results of glass catfish which are undoubtedly not able to breed in captivity. What size is the tank and what are the fish in it?

I was told that the phantom catfish and the glass catfish were the same, just known by different names. It's a 10 gallon tank and for the last month or so they've been the only ones in tank.

If they're not the ones that had the little guppies...then I'm lost.

When I search the fish the picture that comes up labeled 'glass catfish' is the fish I have and it's also called a phantom catfish.

I hope this works. I put it as an attatchment.

One is in the center of the photo and the other is in the far right.

I tried ot take a picture of the little guys but they're so tiny they don't show up. :(

This is only my first year or so owning fish and I never had any of them get pregnant or have any little ones.

I bought some brine shrimp for them. This is so exciting for me. :)
