Hey Everyone I'm Mark I'm obviously new. I'm getting a 110 gallon tank I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for my tank. Let me know thanks.

Could you please tell us what fish are available in your lfs and what really fascinates you a lot? There are plenty of options. Rift Valley biotope, planted tank, etc.

Well I wanted to go with a salt tank but I figured to stick with freshwater so not really sure what fish excite me

LOL..There are lots of fish to try. Why not go to Photo Gallery section and look for photos for awhile?

There are so many options with a tank that big.. I personally would be in the same dilemma you are. You could get a bunch of smaller fish which could be really fun to watch, or if you are into watching some fish grow really big you could get 1 or 2 oscars. I find oscars to be quite entertaining as well, they get so excited whenever they catch a glimpse of you.
I'm not sure if you are saying you are new to the hobby or if you are new to aquariacentral, so I recommend researching fishless cycling if you aren't already familiar with it.

One piece of advice: patience makes for a much more enjoyable hobby. Walk around your fish stores, research online the fish that catch your eye, and ask lots of questions here. We're happy to help. :read:
