We bought some tiger shrimp from a local pet store that is very dedicated to aquariums but they still have a long way to go in terms of shrimp. I bought Tiger shrimp from them but after looking at many pictures of tiger shrimp online, I wonder if these really are tiger shrimp or maybe very low quality tiger shrimp etc. Could someone please give me some insight on this. The pictures are the best I could take with our pocket camera.

crap! they are in the same aquarium as my yellow shrimp that has a berried female so I guess I may get screwed on the color of the offspring. Some are Burgundy which I imagine is just a color variation

are they worthwhile? I don't find many people that seem to keep them on the net with a little research. Do they have any big problems that you guys know of?
Just sucks that I didn't do a deeper research on the tiger before I bought them. Seems that it is hard to find decent quality shrimp up here in Canada. Anyone know a Canadian breeder?
At least I drove down and told the pet store that they were not selling the proper stuff.

well the ones I have are quite nice except that they are in the same tank as my yellow shrimp which will interbreed. Thanks I will check with the person you listed.
