I'm a little pissed at the store for not knowing what they had. They are a great fish store but I figured as a newbie that they should know more than I do on this. i've been at this for only 2 months and I'm the one who told them they were selling the wrong stuff. I don't have a second tank to seperate the shrimp. Kind of sucks but they are still nice shrimp to look at.
I just hope my berried yellow female will have yellow shrimplets which might give me time to start another tank in the near futur.
It's hard to tell from the picture, but the less prominent rostrum makes me think that it looks more like a C. baubalti sp.
They can be very variable in color, and are often mixed in with other batches of shrimp due to this variance.
