Goldfish foods usually have less protein but not as much as I prefer to feed my tropical fish. It's not that you can't feed GF food sometimes but it's not as good for your other fish long term. Their "filler" (corn, soy, wheat, etc) ingredients are not what most tropical fish can digest & thrive on. Just buy better foods. Read the ingredients, the list is by what is most prevalent. So, look for fish-type stuff like salmon, shrimp etc., & maybe some veggies for the first 3 ingredients.
I'm not a fan of mealworms & hate tubifex in any form. Mealworms have a very tough outer chitin layer that many fish cannot digest well. Tubifex are "sewer" worms; they thrive in nasty sludge, EWW! I don't like them in any form or almost any freeze dried foods, even 1s that should be good for our fish like FD blackworms. Just my personal experiences. FD foods can crumble into dust & need to be rehydrated for too long for me.
I will have to look up "aqua care flakes" later...I'm skeptical just by the name.
