brain aneurysm :(

Doug,Im sorry to hear the news about your Aunt .It sounds like you are very close to her.The only advice I have for you is to remember the happy times you have had with her and that she is in a better place.

I lost my grandfather to an aneurysm 3 years ago, and it's hard. We were very close and it sounds like you and your aunt are too. You and your family are in my thoughts.

My condolences to you and your family, Doug. Watching a family member pass away is one of the hardest things to have to go through.

got back yesterday, shes been in a coma for 9 days so far, docs almost have her off the induced coma but all that is left is the coma her body put her into, shes making small movmens with her hands but that could also be like when your sleeping and your body jerks by itself and wakes you up ( happens to me sometimes ) but shes still in a coma sadly. been 9 days.

She made it through the night. That's a big deal! Any movement is good too. I hope everything goes well and I'm glad you went there when the docs were worried. Keep your chin up, we'll all be thinking of you and your aunt

she was on paralizes mes ( bad spelling ) and docs took her off that, thats when she started to make small small movements (twiches if you will) and just got done talking to the docs on the phoen, shes no different then yesterday, and they said shes trying to breath over the breathing machine.

Well if her body is trying to take over breathing that is a really good sign too. All of it is happening because she's off those mess but it still sounds like a pretty strong reaction. I'm not a doctor or anything but it sounds like a good thing to me. Maybe not necessarily that she will be out of the coma soon but the her body may be strong enough to still sustain itself

well theres a meeting tomm to see if they should take the breathing machine off, docs said shes been trying to breath on her own. i may not go to the meeting but would like to. if not, ill have family calling me and keeping me updated
