Hey everybody i just purchased 9 rummynose tetras and 3 otos for my tank and i was wonder what will be a high quality flake food for the tetras?

We use Omega for our Cichlids, they must make it for tetras also... Tetra has quite an assortment......:)

I use a mix of Tetra and Hikari products.

Hikari does use some nice quality ingredients in their fishfood, although I never understood why they use MSG. :/

True, although Omega One contains ethoxyquin which is a somewhat controversial preservative. Talk to a lot of dog, cat, small animal, or bird enthusiast who are very diet concientious and many avoid ethoxyquin like the plague when choosing a food for their pet. Aquarists don't seem to be very concerned about it though. Personally I'm not all that impressed with any of the fish foods currently on the market, but for the time being I use primarily Hikari and occasionally Omega One.

Woodely's Suck!

I haven't really been feeding flake food lately. My small community fish get New Life Spectrum small fish pellets as a staple food, and also a variety of frozen foods. NLS is great stuff and I'd recommend it to anyone.
