High Quality Flake Food?????

I also don't really like the idea of ethoxyquin in my fish food, but I've yet to run across a brand that doesn't use it as a preservative- even the premium brands. But, I have to say that I am a lot more concerned about it in dog and cat food, and I feed brands that don't include it to my dogs.

Good plan, while I don't know if it has an effect on fish, its a known cancer causing agent when it comes to being in dog/cat food :(
Whats a nice slow sinking pellet for my tetras? I'm feeding them Wardleys and its crap (they pull it in their mouth then spit it out and look angry) but ever since I filled out the school they won't eat crisps/flakes from the surface anymore.

Flake food- I use Omega One and Tetramin.
Other- SF frozen blood worms, Live Brine, Hikari Sinking & Algae Wafers.

If that's what you're looking for, I'll put in yet another shameless plug for New Life Spectrum pellet food. The small fish formula is not a floating food, and will slowly sink after a few seconds. My tetras barely even let it sink though! It's also very very small and even really small fish have no trouble eating it, which is an issue I've had with small fish before I switched. NLS does not make a floating pellet food that I am aware of.

I use omega one, hikari and the generic big als flakes...i have heard good things about hikari and as for the person who had their fish dies after eating the bone, i always crush up the food to smithereens and immerse in water so its easier for the fish to digest.

I use Hikari products - from the tropical flakes to the freeze dried foods to the frozen foods and sinking and algae wafers. Do you think I should add a different make?
