9 month old black lab....can jump straight up 4 feet to catch a fly.....can't jump over a 2 foot gate to get out of the room.

Last summer my then 16 month old black lab ran head first into a 40+ year old canary island pine tree, because he won't go around obstacles. He looked like Frankenstein's monster for a few weeks.
