Is this ich on my fish?

There seems to be a white spot on my fish it looks like a small white bump. Is this ich?

I don't see anything that looks like ich. Are you talking about the spot on his dorsal fin?

Yea on the back of the dorsal fin.

Sorry can't be of too much assistance cuz it doesn't look like anything I have encountered. But if others are to help they will want to know the tank details including test results, water change schedule etc.

it most certainly does not look like Ich. It could be a fungus or from and injury.

Because of the body armor on corys, I think the only place you might see a bad case of ich on them is the gill area or maybe fins.

What's my best course of action? Should I just watch it and see if it progresses?

I'd just keep an eye on them, keep up with your water changes and not add any other fish until you confirm all is well.

Bad news. The spot is bigger and elongated. I'm not really sure what it is. It may be a fungus. I'll try and get a pic up later of it.
