i think thats totally fine. Though for your size tank i would get a bigger diffuser, that looks like a nano version.

I was wondering about what differences I would see with different sized diffusers?
I was asking these questions before I bought my Nano, but not really any technical responses, so I just bought this one.
more surface area my rhinox 5000 is 2" in diameter
hard to tell from the video the exact size of bubbles but mine are close to that. I dont think you will ever get all the bubbles that come out of the diffuser to diffuse. Unless you have a really really tall tank.Do you get the super tiny micro bubbles with yours or is it normal size bubbles like what is shown in the video?
will those work with DIY??
