Where do you get bigger tanks?

Been thinking of upgrading the 55 that my JD's are in to a 90 or a 120.

The only fish store I have access to is PetSmart, and they won't special order tanks ( I called and talked to the manager), and they only carry 55's or HUGE tank with stands-just want a plain old tank-can do my own stand.

Been looking through the Craigs list for my area for the last two months-55's out the yahoo, but nothing bigger.

Am I cursed for living in "Bubba-ville"?

Called All-Glass about ordering a tank for delivery-too much-WAAAAAY too much!

Ideas?

I found that Ebay is a great place to look for tanks. You can customize it to only show tanks within your area. You can also ask the companies like All-Glass to tell you who they distribute to. Or, you can make your own.

I found craigslist in my area frequently has tanks that pop up at 55 gals and 90 gals.

Know a good maw and paw company that does auto glass repair? usualy those people know how to cut glass and if you tell them that you need a double siliconed box with x by y by z dimensions and usualy they can do it without too much trouble.

try looking at other areas of craigslist. you might have to take a trip to find one if your not willing to pay for shipping. you can always build one also.

I also noticed with craigslist that sometimes I have to do 3 different searches...

Are there any neighboring towns or cities that may have a separate craigslist? Do you have something like a Want Ad Digest in your area?

Could try Glasscsges.com They do shows around the country and will bring tanks. I believe they are in Tenn near Nashville

Glasscages has a show in Atlanta this weekend, might give 'em a call to see exactly where it is, then rent a U-haul...

It's a pisser that PetSmart won't/can't order tanks at my local store; the one in Columbus will...

Got money to blow, but they won't make the effort to accommodate me for a sale; their loss, I guess!
