Whats Your favorite freshwater fish?

There is a stargate in my aquarium.
It's hard to say, there are so many I like. If I have to pick one.... Pearl Gouramis. They have an elegant beauty around them that's hard to match.
I like the look of schools of Tetras too. I also love my glofish. As a biologist, I love the idea of keeping genetically engineered fish. SCIENCE FISH!

You know, I'd love to keep those, but I've never been able to find them in my local area.
I like guppies (duh?) and cory cats. I know they're both cheap and easy to keep, but they both have such great personalities... And cories just fill every tank full of adorable-ness! :grinyes:
