I got laid off of my job at the end of last month (Merry Christmas!) and decided to redo my aquarium collection while I am job searching. Hopefully, this will keep my spirits up. I've started working on it tonight, tearing things down, moving stuff around and cleaning. Here's a pic of the starting my point. I have a few goals for my living room/fish room project:

1) I want more space for breeding fish.
2) I want to develop better aquascaping skills.
3) I want to get creative and crazy with it all.

Today, January 6, 2012 is Day One of "What's he building in there?"dayon.jpg

What kind of fish will you be trying to breed?

Nice tanks, love that metal frame on the floor. Reminds me of when I first started keeping fish:)
Sorry about the job loss, good luck on the job search!

Thanks! I am hoping to get the time to finish some long overdue projects. I want to build a rack of ten gallon breeding tanks in the corner of the living room, finish my 75 gallon "living machine". refurbish that metaframe tank and finally dig those ADA tanks out of my closet and set up some aquascapes. Let's do this!

Heck of a way to spend idle time! Good luck.

^. That's a pretty sweet room you got there, duder.

I agree, everything looks amazing already ;) Looks to me like you've already got sweet aquascaping skills, I imagine your new and improved projects will only be better though!

The new issue of Tropical Fish Hobbyist has the results of the ADA contest, it was a beautiful issue :)

 gonna watch this one!!
