What eats pest snails?

Can understand your delema. I had an infestation of snales, came with some grass, but got three of my crawdads out from my other tank. Took a little while and all there was left was a lot of empty shells and BIG crawdads. They ate a bunch of the snale shells too. Was real neet to watch. Hope this helps.

Not really asking a question about "snail control" But asking for suggestions so I can decide on what I am going to put in that 55...Many suggestions for "snail Control" do not help when you want to keep certain snails...I know how to kill them off that was not my question...my question was "What eats pest snails" simple just asking for opinions...that's all

Two votes for loaches...I was wondering about crays...sounds like if it gets close enough it's fair game...I also like the blue Macrocrebs...both seem to be within my tank and care abilities. I have also learned that I am partial to many brackish water fish etc. Saw Dragon fish today and felt terrible for them...didn't buy because I know next to nothing about them...glad I didn't...another brackish fish stuck in a fresh water tank that was too small for it...

You won't find something that differentiate between species to kill one select type.

Snail-trap is the best method. As others have said, you can't single out which species stay and which go when using live controls. Anything that'll eat a Ramshorn will put your smaller Apple Snails at threat. If the snails are pouncing on food as quickly as you say then a snail trap system should be very effective.

Cool will trap the ones in the other tanks and feed them to my new residents in the other 55!

Dwarf puffers will eat them and can live in a 10 gal happily. Wouldn't put them in with your other snails that you want to live though
