wardley/hartz has discontinued shrimp pellets!

nope.

i only asked them if it was true that they were discontinuing them and if they were replacing them with something else..........

i actually emailed them twice asking if they discontinued them, and both times got the same answer. the second time i added the bit about replacing them....... the first time i had asked them if they knew where i could get any, as i had been unable to find them in the store.

HBH makes a good shrimp pellet that is very similar to Warley's. In fact I like it better because it isn't quite as crumbly. ;)
 
I guess at this point product availability is relative to the quantity and time of a store’s last order compared to the date of discontinuance. I know when I first heard of this on ewok’s site, I went looking. The small cans were nearly out (I guess that’s what people buy most), but the medium and (mostly) large cans were available. My corys enjoy the Hikari sinking wafers, too.

thanks fishfreak, i was able to buy 3 large cans in hamden "for now". i'm going to have too look into other options for later i suppose. maybe i can buy something bulk, online, like i do with my cichlid flakes.

the only other option i have seen around here tho is the hikari carnivore sinking pellets, and they are much more expensive.

goldfish girl: i love the idea, but i'd probably get killed for doing it. ;)
 
Hopefully I can snag a few from the store before anyone else is alerted around here!
 
hmm... that's happened to me too. I just took it out and thought nothing of it, though.
