Two Filters For One Tank?

I run a wet/dry filter on all my tanks now and a HOB HOT Magnum running on each tank with the micron polishing cart and a fluidized bed sand filter. Over filtering? oh yeaaa but my tanks stay crystal clear. I have large goldfish so I need to over filter.
 
i run mutiple filters on my tank just to get more media in contact with my water, as long as your fish arnt swirling around like a toilet bowl the more the better. Just make sure your outlets can handle the electrical draw, i have so many things plugged in, in my fish (bedroom) that i literally cant plug in my cell phone charger cause the room is tapped out. ( time to add and independent c-breaker) lol
so add some more filtration... you can never have to much
 
I dont own a tank that does have at least two filters on it

the way they are rated is innacurate... especially if they are stocked to the max

"under stock, and over filter" is the motto I live by in this hobby
