What's causing it! My guppy has that swim bladder(or whatever) sickness where hes like standing on his tail.

This is my second female guppy, why? First guppy that happened, I put it in very cold water since I read that it's contagious so I should do that. Now it's in there agian. I just did my water change 1 hour ago. Maybe coz I disturbed the gravel a lot(the ones near my plant roots) since it has all these particles/dust-like inside. This hasnt happened before when I water change.

This is where I got the "remove immediately" thing. I have no q-tank at the moment. Should I just move her to a bucket?

Quite regularily my neons, after eating, bob around looking like their bouncing up and down on their heads. If they stop "bouncing" they start to float upwards, so they bounce again, as though they're doing it to stay down. I used to go nuts about this, wondering what it was and what to do. It always goes away on it's own. It's almost like they bloat after eating and once they digest, they're fine. It doesn't appear to cause them any stress, and this has been going on for months.
So, does this happen after feeding? And are there any other sypmtoms, other than the bobbing?
Also, the article you linked talks about 'head standing', while you say your fish is standing on it's tail. Is that a typo, or is he actually tail down, not head down?

Tail down. But isn't it still "swim bladder disorder". Also, this happened after water change.

i had the same problem with my mollies but they floated tail up and mouth to the gravel- the trusted LFS ppl were unsure-its wasnt a genetic thing-what it was but one suggested that th emolly wasnt getting enough vegetation in its diet which can cause a swim bladder problem-im not sure if the sam egoes for guppies tho. I fit happened after a water change, try and think of anything u did different-how big was the water change?
but hey im just a fellow newbie
