Hello!

I have a 10G that I’m thinking about putting some RCS and Endlers in with maybe a couple of apple or nerite snails, but I was wondering if anything could be added to make the middle and upper layers more varied (rather than just Endlers).

Any advice welcome!

In my opinion, i think the endlers, nerites and shrimp are about fully stocked. 10 gallons isn't a lot of space and very few fish would even be able to be housed in one. Endlers are active and super pretty, so i think them alone would make for an interesting tank!

From my experience, apple/mystery snails are big and produce a lot more waste than you'd think. In a 10 gallon, you should only really get one. They also need to be fed separately unlike nerites who will graze on algae all day long. They are really cool little guys though, just keep that in mind!

Sounds like a nice setup plan as-is! Very much agree with FW on the mystery snails. I'd avoid them for a 10g.

Just here to agree! Endlers should keep you entertained, shrimp babies will keep the endlers entertained (and extra fed) and skip the mystery snails in a 10g, nerites are way better.
