Hello there.

I started to get everything set up and discovered that much to my horror, apparently tetra put the sticker INSIDE the fish tank. When I peeled it off, some goo or something was left behind. How in the world can I remove it? :/

Use a razor blade to get the bulk of it off. Invest in some magic erasers (generic is just as good as the name brand MrClean). That will likely get it all off, but if there are tiny bits left, you can soak it in a bit of rubbing alcohol, giving it time to dissolve the glue, and then you can try scrubbing.

That's always worked for me.

Cool beans, thank you. I was a bit leery of using alcohol inside the tank but there's no water in it so I can just rinse well and let it evaporate? And heck, I have magic erasers I use every day...

Progress update: ... all but a couple of spots are gone. I may just use this one for the quarantine tank. A couple of spots won't hurt fish will it?

you can also try some cooking oil, straight from the bottle or spray like 'Pam'. That's worked well for me on label residue. you may have to clean up afterward with alcohol, but sometimes oil will clean up things alcohol alone won't.

They are! It turns out a bit of rubbing alcohol, some Magic Eraser action and the hot water+razor did it. It's all gone. I rinsed the tank out and am letting it sit open a bit longer now. I wish tank merchants wouldn't put stickers on the -inside-. >
