I have 10 of dwarf green shrimp and 12 red cherry shrimp. The green dwarf shrimp are eating the stems of the Brazilian pennywort I planted earlier in the week. Three stalks have been severed already and I see one working on a fourth. The red cherry shrimp leave it completely alone. No other plants seem to be getting munched on.

I really like the pennywort too, so this is bothersome. Is this typical behavior? They get enough food.

Okay I caught one of them last night. I grabbed my video camera and think I got some footage of it. I don't know if they eat it or they hold a grudge against it, but I caught a red cherry shrimp tearing into the stem of the pennywort like a freaking lumberjack. I'll get it posted today or tomorrow.

So, ya, watch your pennywort.
