male and female sawbwa resplendens (I have ALOT of females)- I have had these guys for many months. They came in SO tiny and so colorless I had to house them for quite awhile until I could get pictures:

Love the pics! :D

I got some rummynose rasboras (S. resplendens) at Petsmart once - the three they had left on clearance. One of them probably should have been a cull, a very tiny runt who only lasted a couple of weeks - too emaciated. The other was a contaminant, I never did figure out what fish it was, but it looked the most like a splash tetra. I have the one left, and now from your picture I know it's a female! Too bad it wasn't a male :)

I have her in a 10 gallon tank with 8 rummynose tetras and she seems to school with them somewhat. If I didn't have just one, I'd be tempted to get her some friends!

Those simplex have some really pretty markings/colors! Subtle, but still striking.

Nice green shrimps...actually have a few myself...

Makes me want to work with smaller species of fish, lol. Maybe that will be my next thing. And the Betta Simplex looking amazing; very nice. ;)
