Good Morning Campers!

This weekend is going to be a remodel of my 55 gal S.A.

I picked up a new DIY Co2 rig complete with built-in bubble counter and solenoid. it still takes the 2 litre bottles and such but looks to be much more stable nd controllable.

Also have a new big batch of Acnacharis to get situated while I wait for new VAL and Mayaka to arrive from Dustin's.

The other new additions that are being ordered are the Giant Oto's. getting 6 of them to split between the 2 55 gal tanks.

Yes, I will have many pictures to come in the near future!

Cheers!

OH, and on a side note...
Lighting is a Finnex 24/7 light bar.

Well, looks like everything I need will finally be delivered today/this evening so gonna start with adding the sand and such, then get the plants going. Also my Giant Otocinclus will b here today as well so they'll get some good munching time.

Pics will be coming.

And the delay has hit.

Missive Ich outbreak with a couple fatalities.

Giant Otos and new plants are in quarantine tank until I get the 55 cleared up. Good news is that the Giant otos and the plants are in great shape so thats's a plus, now just have to treat the 55 and wait.

*sigh*

Slowly adding Fluorite black sand now. Wow, that stuff clouds up the water.

Have reformed the Red fluorite gravel with a slope down towards the front and putting the sand in from the front upwards. once I get that in and water settled, I'll start with the pictures of the base layout and planting.

Remodel is coming along nicely. Pics hopefully tonight.

Have a new stand and a new filter so the water clarity is amazing.

the ich killed off all 3 of the blue acaras as well as all but one of the rummynose so have to re-plan the livestock now.

Well, I tried to upload some pics but the camera on my cell phone takes them in rather large file size to I can't upload without re-sizing them.

OK, trying this again after re-sizing the pics.

First are the giant Otocinclus, then the rest of the tank
Note, more plants are coming.
