Refractometer or hygrometer "HELP"

Ok I'll have my water tested for phosphate and I'm condsidering a RO/DI unit do you use one and if so what do you recommend?

Yep changed to R/O following recommendations on here!!! Not best for me to recommend as I'm in the UK.

keep it!

I had the same problem with 2 different hydrometers and finally purchased a Refractometer. If you calibrate it properly it should be the most accurate. I used a permenate marker and marked my hydrometer where my salininity should be and use it daily. It is easier to read at a glance.:pc:

OK guys I BOUGHT A Phosphate kit today and tested my tap water

Phosphate level was 0.2 is that a good level for tap water?
and my aquarium water had a 0.4 to 0.6 phosphate level is that high? don't know what the correct level should be I read that ro/di water reads zero

Good news I tested my water pressure I have 70 psi they say for a RO/DI unit to work properly you need between 60 to 80 psi. I found two of them just have to decide which one
