About 1 month ago I Purchased a Large Tree Stump Turtle Basking Dock at Petsmart (Made by THRIVE). Apparently THRIVE is associated with Petsmart (However all of that works). Anyhow, I have a 125 gallon freshwater aquarium and I absolutely LOVE this piece. I have been hesitant on adding it to my aquarium because I have been reading stories online about chemicals leeching into the water from reptile decorations. I have asked Petsmart (Called, and talked to a store associate in person) and neither person can answer me as to if the piece would be safe for my fish. There is zero information on the website as to what it is made out of, but it does say for Semi-Aquatic reptiles. I am somewhat 'guessing' that it would be safe for my fish since it is "semi-Aquatic" but I just want to get some other opinions. It is a rather large, heavy, detailed tree stump piece that would look absolutely amazing in my aquarium. Any help/advice/opinions would be GREATLY appreciated! Also, this was the only 1 that they had for sale, there was no tag on it, so I would not be able to tell you what it's tag would have said. It is rough in texture, and does not appear to be coated with anything to "smooth" it out.
