i agree with all said. manually remove. assassin snails need both m and f to mate and only lay 1 egg every 10 days, and that's only if they eat snails. so i have read anyway.

i wish i could have more snails in my tanks, they keep my algae under control,and i think they are cute, but my goldies an ddojo loaches devour them all :-( so they only survive in my tropical tank of neons and guppies.
