That is disgusting, poor fish, they have to eat dead skin. I'm sure they perfer something else... An what if the spa doesn't get enough visitors? I wouldn't be surprised if they were left to starve...

just because it's gross to you doesnt mean it's gross to them.. i'm sure they get plenty to eat.

Yeah, those fish are Oreochromis niloticus... Nile tilapia. I work with them every day at school. Funny, I even work with the same size fish. I'd be willing to bet they got their fish from the same place I did hahahaha!

I just cannot believe how many people have commented on this story, (esp. considering how many websites and national news channels it's been on) yet not one of them has noticed that those fish are the same fish that they eat in their grocer's freezer. The level of ignorance about the food people buy and eat every day is atrocious.
