Name brand is KolorScape.

One bag will cover 3 square feet to 2" depth.

I really like the natural looks of it and it's nice smooth roundish pebbles.

Of course I'll have to wash it really well.

It worked out really nice and looks great! Took a bit of washing though. Had a bit of sand like material in it. Probably not necessarily a bad thing. I used just shy of the whole bag for my 29gal. Lots of cool looking little pebbles. It's a nice natural look.

I keep that stuff stocked in my garage, it's the only thing I use in tanks anymore. I use those paint things they sell..to strain paint (its a really fine mesh) but they will fit over 5g buckets

I've got pea gravel over builders sand substrate in my big tank. Don't tell my wife but I used the stainless steel colander to wash the gravel with. It was really shiny when I was done.

Honey? Have you seen the colander?!?

Yeah hang on.. it's right here. LOL!

I do love this stuff for gravel.

If you have a wheelbarrow, dump about 20lbs at a time in it and rinse, dump, repeat til clear...works great.

I use the all-purpose gravel that's found next to the concrete in several of my tanks. Once cleaned up it looks great and is cheap.
