Paintin gravels ????!!!!

black gravel is black gravel.. how can it look natural lol If you spray paint it it will look the same as the black gravel they sell in stores.

sounds like a good news , i ll test sprayin some tomorrow lets see how it ll go on
can i use regular paintin oil sprays ?
should i go for matt or oily color ?

Don't use regular spraypaint! Krylon Fusion is the only one I know of that's aquarium safe.

I dunno what you guys bought...

sorry the natural river gravel isnt painted.. but the other black/silver/green/blue etc.. stuff is painted.. They dont suggest you wash the gravel with hot water because it removes the outer coating and that may cause the gravel to later lose the color.

Hi all i painted some of my white gravel for test , i didn t painted them comletely so some of them still have white sides ,anyway, now it s dried here it s :

there s 2 things :
1-i sprayed them with matt black spray but they look abit shiny
2-i only have access to regular paintin spray and it s says nothin on it that if it s safe for aquarium or not , i ran outta test kit so i cant test if this painted gravel has effect on ph or not , any body have experience with paintin spray ?can i use it or not ?
and how is it ? is it goin to look good ?

you really shouldve used Krylon fussion to paint the gravel..

i didn t find Krylon fussion sprays in local stores here , and i can t access online , what if i run ph test with this painted gravel ? should i test anythin else ?

not sure how this paint will react in the tank.. But its known that the fussion is the only aquarium safe paint that can be found at HD/LOWES/Wallyworld
The paint you used might not affect ph (though it will.. expect a high rise) it may/will release toxins into the water.

Go find some epoxy paint thats non toxic when dry.
