Need help- culturing live blood/red worms

Blood worms and red worms are very different...
redworms are like earthworms and live on land
blood worms are aquatic

Actually, bloodworms are a midge larvae, similar to mosquito's. The easiest way to culture either is to set out a few buckets (or other, larger containers) to collect rainwater, and watch them daily. Mosquito's and other insects will lay their eggs in them, though mosquito's are much more common. Just be sure to harvest them before they develop into adults.
Red worms are cultured like earthworms, a google search will give you plenty of info on those.

Red worms can not survive in dirt the way earthworms can. Reds are very easy to do and most meat eating fish love them. Red worms are most commonly used for composting.

I also found red worms are great for conditioning fish for spawning.
