Is this a model that has auto shut off when water level decreases? Maybe it failed and water got in on the refill...

That's the first I've ever heard of anyone having a problem w/ a Visitherm Stealth (that's what's in the pic, right?).

I suspect they'll take care of you (I just hope it happens more promptly than the updating of the C-Series filter give away winners' list - c'mon Marineland - August was a long time ago)[/hijack].

yes one with a auto shut off. yes thats the pics. could have tried to get it more under the light so you could see better but i was lazy.

yes 4 years i been using them and only them. i hope it gets replaced. looked on the package and was a little worried. says something like pay to send it in and maybe we will replace it. one of the reasons why i emailed them first. all i asked for is how do i get it replaced under the warranty. ill keep this updated if anything happens.

Ok. I hope everything goes ok. Do you have a back up in the tank?

Now I know why I unplug my heaters during water changes even tho they're supposed to shut off.

Thanks for showing us.
