My Jellybean Convicts laid eggs!

i have a 1'' pair with 50 wrigglers approx. right now. they should be free swimming with the next 2 days. they are breeding machines.
 
I know this is an old thread, but im a newbie here and very interested in finding more info about the jellys...Im overloaded with convicts (as most who have a m/f are) and was wondering a few things

1. does it matter which is the male or fem in the breeding pair?
2. Does it have to be a particular parrot? colorwise I mean ?

Hey and welcome! And welcome to the Jellybean hobby! Here to answer your questions.
1. Do you mean size wise. Usually, jellies pair off at a pretty young age so i just let nature take course.
2. Are you talking about breeding your own jellies from a con parrot cross? Well, most believe thats what they are, but no one is for sure as to what they do over in asia. But they seem to always come out white like convicts and they will dye the poor things in asia to pet stores. But they are like pink cons in a little package! <><

and if they are a pair, it is amazing watching such little fish hoard around even littler fish. its funny! Enjoy Jellies!
 
yeah i just noticed eggs last night the mom keeps the dad at a safe distance as well as my third one a bought.
