The fluval has suprised me, I only paid $189, not that that is cheap, but I guess for a filter this size, it was, Anyway, it is really quiet, and cleans up my cloudy water iin about 20-30 minutes. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another if I needed it.

Tank Update
Well, I transferred my 5" common Pleco into the tank, and he's been eatin like a horse. Also bought 8 black neons too, It's finally starting to look like it should.
