multiple bettas in 1 tank?

Your best bet is to keep the three females in the tank, and keep the male separately. you could try to put him in there, but most likely the females would be harassed and killed.

you can keep a male beta with many other peaceful fish, but they usually wont live too peaceably with there own kind.

Agreed. Also, there is a good chance that the females won't tolerate each other. Sometimes they do, but my experience is that it's really hit or miss.

i would advise against it. more than likely either the male is going to beat the crap out of the females or the females will gang up on him and hurt him. you could try the females in there but be watchful of any aggression issues

I kept 3 females together for a while and had to move one. This was in a heavily planted 45 gallon tank with plenty of hiding places. I think 10 gallons is too small for them to live together unless you luck out and get some exceptionally docile fish.:)

Be wary of those 'Brandy Glass' fish bowls. I had one and it collapsed under it's own weight and it was only as full as yours. Luckily my Oranda survived...

I would stick with just females. by the way, that's a really pretty tank! Whatever you put in it will be happy. :grinyes:
