Just realised my nano is one year old this month, I flicked through a few old photos and thought I'd show its evolution. Suprisingly I haven't played with the aquascape much at all, unusual for me, so its easy to see how much stuff has grown on the LR. I've had a few fish loses :( and several 'why bother, my tank sux' moments but I just have to put it all down to a learning experience.

January 2007 - Just set up, looking all neat and boring.

February 2007 - Bit of growth.

April 2007 - The dreaded algae, went through diatoms and a bad cyano phase that lasted for months.

October 2007 - Got a skimmer and things gradually started to improve.

Now - Just put a new kelvin temperature tube in which really enhanced the coralline algaes and made the tank look crisper.

Current fish are a Sixline Wrasse, Bicolor Blenny, Common Goby and a Coral Beauty. My Dad and sister got the CB, I know she'll get too big eventually but she's only 2" at the moment and has plenty of space. She's currently recovering from intestinal worms (hence a bit skinny) but doing better every day.
Bligh - favourite species of fish by far.

Fantastic, i love the look of the rimless aquarium, where did you get it?

Thanks all.

Whoops forgot to put the size, its a 2ft long 20g tank.

In Aus most tanks are rimless, just glass and silicon, and personally I prefer the look cheaper too. My LFS gets them made by a local glazier, I think most of the LFS's around me do. Some LFS's have people in store who make them too.
