Lovin my gouramies

I recently added 5 gouramies 2 gold a male and female and 2 pearl females. The females are so funny everytime I go by the tank they swim up to greet meet me similar behavior I get from my bettas. The gold male is very shy I also have a coral dwarf gouramie who is shy too. They are pigs though when it comes to eating and they think that everytime I go by the tank it is meal time especially the females. I am so glad I got them they have great personalities!

Gouramis are good fish. I've had the smaller types...Honey and Dwarf. Good luck with the gouramis.

Thanks I am addicted just bought 4 honey gouramies that are now in QT am so happy they are the last fish I need to restock my main tank . I gave up on LFS ordering bleeding heart tetras for me I have one of those fish left out of 6 I had. The others I had for a long time an they died off one at a time. I have not seen the stores stocking them in a while are they not breeding them? I got tired of waiting so hoping this tetra will school with the six red/blue columbian tetras that are in there now. The honeys are gonna look awesome in my 36g so excited can't wait to put them in but am being good an QTing them for a month in my 10g....waiting is sooooooo hard!!!!!!!:girl:

I'm about to start breeding honey gourami's so keep the addiction going!!

After those 4 go in my main tank I am done no room for anymore fish but good luck with breeding them.
