Ladies and gents, it never fails to surprise me how it is never necessary whatsoever to remind members of this grand community to stay on topic and avoid personalising arguments for and against a given point and critiques of another's point of view.
Equally, we never have a problem with excess sarcasm in here.
Try and remember that we are on the interweb thing - it is unlikely that if one was to meet face to face with one's fellow members one would approach them with hostility or in a confrontational manner. Lets keep that in mind in the threads too. Broadly speaking try and imagine your fellow members smiling broadly at you in a convivial and welcoming manner. You would smile back and a polite conversation would ensue although no doubt the intellectual cut and thrust would continue far into the wee hours.
And on topic too. In real life you can go off-topic. But not here. Unless I think its funny.
