Java Moss Wall

I've had a java moss wall growing for a few months now and I took pictures of my new betta today and really saw how unevenly the wall was growing in. I was thinking of trimming the thicker areas to see if it will stimulate growth in the bald patches. Any other ideas?

Java moss does that in all moss walls. Just wait until you can't see the mesh all over the back anymore and then you should trim it evenly.

i have the same problem. im just gonna let it grow out for a while.

trim it once in awhile or the moss between the mesh is going to die.
