IYO what is the ugliest fish alive?

I was in the LFS last weekend and they had a while tank full of pleco's. Bout made me puke... damn those things are ugly. With their sucker mouths pressed up against the tank...BLECK!

What do you consider to be the ugliest aquarium fish?

That's probably not the best idea on this board...too many of us love our plecos. There are some pretty creepy fish out there, but I find them to be ugly in a sort-of-endearing way.

fancy goldfish they are just gross.Especially those ones with bubble eyes that point upward,just plain creepy

I love my pleco, he is just the CUTEST. 12 inches of wormwood patterned beauty. Plus it is really neat to watch him attach himself to the glass, so you can see his neat mouth while he scrubs the sides or just breathes!

One fish I am not excited about is the borneo sucker. They look a little like leeches to me, especially the way they move.

btw i think the ugly ones are the marine types. no, not the colorful one.

the other day i saw, i think it was a type of puffer, it was horribly ugly.
