I guess clown loaches dont mind a crowed tank. =p

I was just looking at my tank cause i just did a new silliconed rock cave setup. And i was wondering where the loaches would sleep. I first expected them to sleep in the bigger 3"x4" cave but they pick the small 1"x4" haha.

Yes all 5 of my clowns are in there, you only see 4 cause the other one is to the right beind the rock.

I am really regretting only having bought one now.. even if my tank is too small for more. I actually went back to the store to buy the 2 others they had in the there.. but they'd sold same afternoon I got mine.

very tempted to get a bigger tank soemtime sooner rather than later, and a few loaches like yours.
 
clown loaches are such goofballs!! Great pic!
I made a coconut hut for my tank with the hopes the kuhlis would use it, and made the door small so just they could get in....or so I thought.
Imagine my surprise when I saw the goofy clowns swimming through the opening...on their sides..to get in. All 3 of them. On the top there are holes where the "eyes" were on the coconut. The Kuhlies use that like a look-out. You sometimes see about 1/2" of kuihli face looking out. :joke:
 
Mine love to "loach pile". They even try and loach pile my 16" pleco!

I only have 3... but I am upgrading to a much larger tank soon and I hope to find maybe 4 more to add to the group. :)

One of the funny things that my 3 clowns do is that they "surf" in the bubbles from the air stone.

I can't help but laugh every time I walk by the tank and see one of the clowns vertically oriented above the air stone... face into the bubbles, just hovering there like he's flying through space or something.

i had one clown loach that use to do this...but somehow it died?... =[

And i dont know if all loaches act the same.
