How would you stock a 2000 Gallon aquarium?

I'd have a huge CA community, Midas, Vieja/Parathraps species, Texas, Jags, Jack Dempseys maybe a few SA like Festae and Green Terrors, some huge plecs, Leopoldi Sting Rays.

do NOT get me started... i wouldnt have any idea besides some sort of african cichlid set up, OR divide the tank into two ( each 1000 gallon ) with one side being african cichlid, other side being ca/sa cichlid :)

500 zebra danios, will look like 5000 zebra danios. :)

More seriously, I've noodled this myself - most folks with big tanks tend to keep big fish. I've often wondered what it would be like to stock a big tank with a whole mess of smaller fish. I'm guessing that it would be a lot more maintenance for things like dead fish, etc, but that's just a guess.

I could imagine a huge school of harlequin rasboras would be awesome...

hmm, actually with a tank that size can you say lets go swimming!!!!!

In the 2000 I'd have Beyonce in a mermaid outfit. After that, who cares what's in the others?

Bahahahaha!

I'm a goldie person. They have so much personality, and some varieties are sooo pretty! Maximum stocking for fancies would be like 200....I'd do like 150, so I'd have room for some of the babies. And with that kind of budget, they'd all be ordered from icthius on this forum, rain garden, and dandy orandas. A girl can dream, right? :)

Would severely overstocking be okay? Considering the large volume of water, plants and large sump.
