If you had a 2000 Gallon aquarium, how would you stock it?

I'm feeling adventurous and doing something like this is something i've always planned to when I retire.
A 2000 Gallon main tank connected to a fishroom in the basement that includes a huge sump (400-700 Gallon), water reservoir and 2 100 Gallon tanks that can be closed off for quarantine or nursery in the future. Another 365 Gallon tank in the dining room will also be connected to this same system. Auto-water changes and fertilizing will be implemented. The budget will be about $30,000-$40,000.
The fun part is planning for the stocklist of course, how would you guys stock it?

My idea is to have the more expensive species or species that I would like to observe behaviourally in the smaller tank. The large tank would have large schools of more commonly found fish.
