How much do you feed your fish?

I feed all of my fish 2 times a day. Once in the morning about an hour after lights on and once in the evening an hour or so before lights off. However, they don't get fed on Saturdays. I chose Saturdays as an off day since if I go out or something it's Friday night/Saturday. My water parameters stay perfect with once a week with 1/3 water change. Sometimes if I have spare time through the week I'll do an additional water change just for the heck of it. Everyone seems happy and they know their schedule. :)

I feed most of my fish 2x a day. My 5 gallon, because my betta stares at me all day if I don't feed him often; my 29 gallon because I have platy fry; and my 60 gallon because my crayfish and gourami are "special". My crayfish can't seem to find food, even when I drop it on his head, and my gourami's method of feeding is to suck at the surface of the water until some food just happens to go into his mouth.

The shrimp and snails in my 10 I feed once a day, because they graze all day anyway and my pond fish I feed only once a day because I have to turn the waterfall filters off when I feed them due to the amount of surface agitation they produce.

I feed my tanks flakes twice a day, I like to do this because there might be that one fish that doesn't get much food at the first feeding.
My 55 gallon gets a piece of cucumber every other day, mainly for my pleco and algae eater. I also throw in some shrimp pellets for my loaches and other bottom feeders, every other/few days.
I used to put in algae wafers for my pleco, but my barbs and gourami's would devour it, and bump into my plants and uproot them.

I feed when I get up around 6 am and when I go to bed around 9:30 pm. I make sure to have the lights on 15 mins before feeding and 15 mins after feeding. I feed them just enough that it is gone in about 1 min or so. Which turns out to be alot because I have 4 growing Male Gouramis and 4 H Rasboras.

Isn't that stressful to you AND the fish? Is there any reasoning behind why you change your water daily?
I find it common for people to be quite surprised with daily water changes.:raspberry:

I admit I do that for the sake of my fish.;)

i feed small amounts twice a day , except for fry , they get fed 4 times a day . two small feedings is better than one large feeding IMO .
