Quick question...

How many times a day do you feed your fish and how big is your tank? Should you feed your fish more if you have a larger tank? (example- should a 75G get fed more times a day than a 10G?)

This is the one of those things that everyone seems to have a different opinion on. I feed my 75 gallon 3 times a day and my other tanks twice a day (other than the fry tank- they're ALWAYS eating!!)... Does this sound about right or do you think that's too much??

I just feed my fish once a day, I have a 10, 15 and 20 gallon tank. I think feeding them more than that is a bit overkill, just fuels algae. If I had fish that were nocturnal or something I'd feed them twice a day, but never more than that.

i usually feed mine twice a day but sometimes i'm in a rush in the mornings so they only get fed once a day. i have a 20g. and a 50g. and i just feed them flakes, bloodworms, tubifex and algae wafers.

I feed my fish once a day 6X a week, as much as they can eat in about 45 sec. I have a 85 gal, 55 gal, and 12 gal tanks.

Young, growing fish are fed 3-4 small feedings a day. Adults are fed 1-2 small feedings a day. Marine fish are fed 2-3 small feedings per day.

i feed once a day, 6 times a week as well...I have all adult fish. My tanks range in size from 10-36g.

I do likewise, except in my fry tank which gets fed 2-3x and my shrimp tank which gets fed every other day. (tanks in sig).

So basically.. Am i way over feeding?
