How many glowlight tetras for 5 gal.?

I think the idea of a Betta with maybe about 3 pygmy cories would be good.

I'm pretty good abt doing PWCs etc on my 5g. I have had 6 Pristellas in there in the past (pushing it a bit)... I currently have 3 Harlequin Rasboras & 1 Amano shrimp in there w/ some Cabomba now.

The harlequins would be okay. But the problem isn't filtration or ability to clean the tank and do water changes. The problem is that these are schooling fish and are fast swimmers. A 5 gallon will just not give them the room to move and you will just see them sitting there most of the time. The tank will be boring.

I had a school of silver tips in a 5 gallon. I thought they were the worst fish ever until I moved them in the 20 gallon tank. They lived another 4 years and were awsome fish.

What are you talking about? Neons and glolights are practically the same fish with different coloring. Also the glolights are probably hardier. Neons in a small tank is not good for such a fragile fish.
glolites get to 3 inches long. neons barely get to 1

if you want a group of pretty fish, why not endlers?

in my 5 I have 2 bamboo shrimp and 6 ghost shrimp. I may get a betta
IDK... you're pretty darn stocked right there since bamboos get 4" long.
