My brother's clown would not host in an anemone. They love his open brain coral instead and every night they rub it all over and then lay down for a sleep.

I agree that anemones are not something for beginners to play around with. There are just too few of them in the world to be playing with.

Clowns often take to hairy mushrooms, and they look a lot like anemones.

you dont have to have halides my LTA is 2.5 feet from my halide a under by 2 55 watt pcs
And i once kept a condy for years in a 29 gallon with a 18watt flourecent(standard) when i was like 7 but fed it every day( i wouldn't count on this working out for many people)
for my Gold Stripe Maroon its only naturalm host i have seen is the BTA but it lives in my LTA
